Why You Should Choose Curiosity, If You Want to Find Your Passion

If you haven't "found your passion" yet (or have found many, many passions but none of them has stuck), it can feel like there is something wrong with you.

In her Super Soul talk, "Flight of the Hummingbird: The Curiosity Driven Life", Elizabeth Gilbert, shares a new way to think about finding or following your passion.

Rather than a linear path (as she recognizes her own passion for writing to be), for many people it's more like the path of a hummingbird... traveling this way and that, cross-pollinating along the way.

She suggests that instead of being dead focused on following your passion (or trying to follow the path of least resistance that you think might get you there), to instead follow your curiosity, because it's what might lead you to your passion.

If you can let go of passion and follow your curiosity, your curiosity just might lead you to your passion.
